Facility Manager
Salary: SGD 5500 - 6500
Location: Pasir Panjang
Responsibilities:
Arrange for provision of utility and services to projects
Ensure maintenance of yard equipment and facilities, building and vehicles
Plan work schedules and ensure work completion through meetings, discussions and progress reports etc. with his personnel
Plan for capital budget and yard development
Maintain and update annual inspection and certification of yard equipment in compliance to Factory Act
Review the production work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
Liaise with other sections, departments, owners and classification bodies on projects
Ensure efficient administration, supervision and management of the personnel in his section
Control and manage the sub-contractors and their workers
Supervise installation of yard cranes and elevators
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of related work experience for degree holder/ For Diploma holder 6 years of related work experience is needed
Trouble-shooting/ repairing of yard equipment and facilities
Yard equipment to deal with breakdowns
Maintenance preventive measures, scheduling, procedures and system, techniques and control
Energy conservation technique and practices
Spare parts requirement and inventories
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work in a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Possess good leadership, planning and decision-making skills
