Currently we are building the travel information database/archive for our growing market in Singapore and Malaysia. These travel information will be preloaded in our nuvi series GPS products and posted on our official website for easy-download (http://www.garmin.com.sg/richpoi/), as well as published monthly, by topics, as Travel e-Book (to be downloaded into the device). This is a free service for our customers and free advertisement for the stores.
We are looking for freelance photographers and writers for travel guides. Travel guides, geographically covering Singapore and Malaysia, will be about natural scenery, cultural attractions, restaurants, hotels, shopping, nightlife, holiday and sporting events.

Travel Photographer
Responsibilities:
PHOTOGRAPHY
8-10 photos are required for each point of interest.
1) Building/Façade
2) Interiors
3) Close-up Shoot of Special Feature/Food

ARTICLE
Approximately 150 words in English of introduction and review for each point of interest

BUSINESS INFO
Coordinates & business information e.g. phone number, address, business hour, price & transportation

Payment:
US$30~35 for each POI

Requirements:
Candidate must be able to communicate effectively.
Candidate must be comfortable working on deadlines.
No professional working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Portfolio is required.
For photography, candidate must have the knowledge of color and composition with excellent skills in photography. For articles, candidates must have a solid commend of the English language and a passion for writing original local travel content.

Job Description:
Timely preparation of monthly management reports, yearly budget and strategic plan and quarterly re-estimates.
Review, checking and approval of financial accounting entries.
Preparation of financial statements and accompanying schedules
Preparation and checking of inventory reports and inter-company confirmations/reconciliations and other submissions as required.

Regional Finance Executive

Job Description:

Salary: SGD 4000 - 5000

The role reports to the Regional Finance Manager, and is required to liaise with Controllers in the region to ensure prompt delivery of monthly results and prepare financial consolidation for discussion with Management
Work closely with controllers to ensure implementation of the regional finance manual, adoption of best procedures and practices and adherence to good corporate governance
Review regional operations from the finance, tax and business perspectives and provide analysis and commentaries of the results
Review internal control systems of Group companies and undertake process improvement initiatives
Prepare regional budget and forecasts and monitor resource utilization as well as KPI tracking
Participate in financial and operational audits of Group companies
