Administrative Assistant
JOb Description A landscape architectural design company needs to
recruit an administrative assistant for their site office. The
company is lead design consultant and masterplanner for Singapore's
Gardens by the Bay project currently under construction in the heart
of the city. We have assembled a team of site based staff to work
closely with the Client and their Singapore and international design
team to oversee the construction of the gardens.

Company Principals, site team/architects
Job Scope
-Document management, filing, printing and administrative support to
the landscape architects and designers;
-Creating and maintaining soft and hard filling systems;
-Use online document control system;
-Quality control checking of all non technical information on drawing
lists, plans, tender information etc;
-Record minutes of meetings as required.
-Purchasing of office equipment, stationary etc as required.
Candidate
-Would suit person with a background in office document management;
-Must have good organisational skills, accuracy and attention to
detail; it is essential that you are able to maintain all information
relating to the project in a methodical and organised manner;
-Must be able to work independently;
-PC literate; advantageous to have previously used a web based
document management system as it will be a requirement of the role to
register, issue, distribute any of the relevant documentation to
interested parties. Other PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word,
Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Professional (In design).
-Candidates must be eligible to live and work in Singapore:
Singaporean, SPR, Malaysian only,
Advantageous but not essential to:
-Demonstrate past experience in the construction industry or
architects office; and
-Be capable of reading drawings relating to the project.
Period and time
Fixed term, initial period of six months start beginning October 2010
to end March 2011. Part time 3 days (24 hours) per week flexible
working days Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm with 1 hour lunch.
Location and working conditions
Gardens by the Bay Staging Office, Marina Way, Marina South Near to
Marina Barrage. Working conditions are normal for an office
environment.
Salary
S$9 p/hr
Notwithstanding the details in this job description, the job holder
will undertake such work as may be determined from time to time, up to
a level consistent with the principal responsibilities of the job.
