Planning & Inventory Officer

Job Description:

-Plan, schedule, monitor and control production at factories to ensure on-time production and delivery.
-Monitor production schedule and performance daily, and modify plans as necessary to make most efficient utilization of machinery.
-Work closely with Customer Service staff to communicate schedules, schedule changes, and to make any necessary re-schedule requested by the customers.
-Use and maintain data in ERP [Movex] system for inventory control, planning and scheduling, and supply chain management.
-To generate an effective production planning with high capacity,continuous output and minimize process stoppages.
-Plan, schedule and coordinate all the activities throughout the manufacturing process.
-Work closely with staff in production, quality control, shipping and marketing
and sales.

-Salary: Max $2,400

-5 day work week

-Location: North


Requirements:
-Diploma in Purchasing/ Logistics/ Materials Management/ Procurement or International Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
-Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in manufacturing industry, ERP/Material Resource Planning and production planning or SCM in the manufacturing environment.
-Good communication & interpersonal skills.
-Knowledge of ISO9000/2000 Quality System will be added advantage.
-Well-organize, initiative, able to work under pressure and tight schedules in the fast paced environment
-Experience in using ERP software (Movex) will be added advantage.
-Proficient in MS Excel is a must. (Vlookup, Pivot, etc.)
