Job Description:
Personnel Assistant ( Marine / Travel )
Responsibilities:
Recognise the ability of project personnel by reading and understanding each individual (IMCA) certification and experience to determine suitability for the project requirement
Update the CV in the personnel database with hard and soft copy of certificates and diploma’s
Propose project personnel for hire in close consultation with the project manager to the corporate personnel department
To organise travel arrangements (booking of accommodation, tickets, visa, etc) in close consultation with the project manager and the offshore supervisors/managers to ensure timely arrival and departure of project personnel, taking into account time zones and local transfer durations.
Liase with local agents to ensure meeting project planning for crew change and flight schedules, and local procedures
Assist in booking of the required courses and arranging doctor appointments for medical test or otherwise upon request
Requirements:
Adminstrative education with additional relevant courses
Preferably 2 year or more experience in an a marine company or a travel agent
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Fluent in English in speech and writing
