Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing timely and competitive
supplier quotations to the Sales Team based on market knowledge. The
position is also responsible for expediting product delivery and
manage returns to Suppliers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle Request For Quotations from Sales team
Negotiate pricing support from suppliers
Expedite local deliveries for critical incidents after Asset team initiation
Request and manage sample inquiries from Sales
Maintain supplier quote and sample log and DPA/SPR/S&D application
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / SKILLS REQUIRED
While it is preferred that the individual's related work experience
was gained from MNC's or
large companies & brings with him/her an established network and
strong supplier relationships, the following are the "Must-Have"
requirements to be successful in the role:
Knowledge
Diploma in Business / Business Management, Electrical Engineering or
its equivalent
At least 2-3 years in a technical sales/marketing role gained from the
electronics or high technology industry
Strong business and market knowledge
Skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, including English & country-specific
language – Sensitive to audience diversity, with a fair degree of tact
& diplomacy
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Skill in prioritizing work & multi-tasking
Attitude
Operates from a service-oriented attitude
A proven team player
High energy level with a sense of urgency
'Can do' attitude (self-motivated)
Detail oriented
